August Currently

So excited for my first "Currently." I am linking up with Oh, Boy 4th Grade for this August Currently!

Listening - I need some powerful and upbeat tunes help power me through these first few weeks of back to school! It has been a crazy few weeks (as it always is,) but well worth all the work!

Loving - This stuff is AMAZING! It's a great way to help cool off during this 115 degree Phoenix summer! I'm so obsessed!

Thinking - We adopted a new reading program this year. I'm eager to learn about everything it has to offer!

Wanting - I would love a new road bike to cruise around town in. Such a great way to save on gas and get some exercise.

Needing - I am over this Phoenix summer! I am need it to cool off already! This stormy weekend has brought the temperatures down a tad. :)

1st day - We have already begun our school year and we are off to a great start. I am looking forward to all the adventures my class will have this year!

Head over to Oh, Boy 4th Grade to read some more currentlies!

Happy August!!

  1. I so feel ya with the cooler weather. Down here in Louisiana the humidity is rising and so is the heat! Teachers meet and have parent orientation Thursday but we don't have students until the 13th, so I have just a few more days of summer vacay!

  2. What reading curriculum do you have? I would love to get a new one! That's crazy that you've already started school! I'm not ready to go back at all!

  3. We have had much cooler weather than normal! The highs have been mid-eighties. Usually by now in Alabama it's about 105 daily! I ride a stationary bike often- I can watch television at the same time....

  4. We've actually had some cooler weather which has been nice in Tennessee but it makes me a little worried about the month of August. I'm almost 5 months pregnant and don't like the heat anyway. We start school next week and tomorrow I'm heading into my room. Good luck with your year!

  5. I grew up in Chicago so I understand the snow days! I am not sure which is worse!

  6. Hi Rachel! I found your blog on Farley's Currently. I can't believe you're already back at school! I've lived in New Jersey my whole life and we have never started school until after Labor Day! I hope your new school year started off great. Best of luck this year! P.S. I'm your newest follower! :)
